Sick and Tired? – Do something NOW!

Hey everyone! I know it has been a while but so much has been going on. In the past couple of months I’ve started a new job (well two actually) and I also started a YouTube channel……but more important yes we are still in a whole bunch of damn debt!!!

Things are settling down a bit and I will be making sure to make more time to consistently post content and continue keeping you all up-to-date. Be sure to go over to the YouTube page because I may be updating there more often because I film video while I’m driving because I have much less time to write now that I have a long commute to my new job. (I’m actually doing most of this through voice dictation because I have so little time to blog).

The point of this post is pretty straightforward based on the title…

So tell me this… Have you ever been freaked out because maybe you had a discussion with someone or you thought about something and then suddenly you started seeing that thing that you were discussing or thinking about on Facebook or in ads on Google or somewhere on your computer? Like seriously there has to be a little man hiding in the bushes who can also read my thoughts!
So it’s crazy that for about the past week I’ve just felt this overwhelming feeling and I couldn’t describe what it was. I just knew that there was something wrong.

In the past 48 hours I’ve been listening to podcasts, reading several blogs, seeing YouTube videos and Instagram posts etc. of a number of people that I follow and it’s crazy because as I look back I saw at least five different people discuss the moment that they realized that they were sick and tired of whatever situation that they were in.

It was really weird because none of these people know each other that I know of but all of them seem to have posted something in the past couple of days regarding this and it also helped me realize that overwhelming feeling I have been having…..

The Realization……

This is my sick and tired phase!

I am sick and tired of being in debt.

I am sick and tired of not being able to live the life that I deserve.

I am sick and tired of having to work multiple jobs to try to pay off from the mistakes that I made in the past.

I’m sick and tired of my house not being in order because I can’t get enough rest because I have to work around the clock because of the situation that I put myself.

I am just plain sick and tired.

So what? Now what?

The question now though is what am I going to do about it now? This isn’t the first time I’ve been sick and tired but I do want to be the last time?

Hell we started our debt free journey months ago and I am still on “baby step zero“ trying to make sure that I catch up on bills. I haven’t even started my debt snowball yet and we should have actually been out of debt with at least two of our creditors by this month according to my original spreadsheet.

The time is now!

The time to make a change is now. I will definitely not look back in another six months and say that I have not made any progress. It makes me sick to go back and look at some things that I haven’t looked at in months that I have not made any progress on.

This is why it is so important to write and review your goals on a regular basis. I wrote some of this stuff out months ago and haven’t looked at it since then…… and guess what???? I’m still in the same place.

I absolutely refuse to do that to myself again. There has to be a change and the change is going to happen right at this moment. I am re-dedicating myself to make sure that I update my content on my blog because I know that many of you are watching and waiting to see the success.

But here’s what I also want to say to you… Don’t sit and watch and wait to see the success story we will have….

Jump in on the journey and start getting your life together now. Whether you join me to look at the progress in my mind set my marriage or my money, whatever it is don’t wait to see me get it right until you start on your journey to get it right. You see how long it’s taking me to get where I need to be so don’t hold off on making yourself better. Let’s go on this journey together!

Whatever it is that you’re working on you can achieve that goal. Don’t be a social media watcher don’t sit back and find every reason not to get to the next level.

There is no reason for you to be in the same position you are now in six more months. There’s always room to grow!

Get it out of your mind and on paper

Please I beg of you…. do not sit on whatever it is that you have been wanting to move forward on. I bet you’re thinking of that one thing right now….stop just thinking about it. Write it down and then…..

Say it aloud!

I am a true believer that when you speak things into the atmosphere you create an energy behind that thing. There is power in just the sound of your words being put into the atmosphere.

Let this be your sick and tired moment. Let this be the day and the time that you do clear that you will be better.

This may take you getting uncomfortable for a while. Me having to take on an extra job is very uncomfortable but in the long run it’s going to help me and my family it to the goals that we want.

Me sitting down and having to budget every single dollar that is coming in and out of our house 3 to 4 times a week is exhausting. But it’s what I have to do to get to the level that I want to see my finances in a better place.

Staying up a little bit later to read that extra chapter is very uncomfortable because I want to get my sleep. But every single wealthy and successful person that I know reads books and focuses on personal development. So I know that if I want to get to that level I need to be following those same types of habits.

What are you waiting for? Go write that thing down and do something about it now!

Once again I beg of you don’t sit and watch. Start now and take control over your life again. Whatever that thing is whether it’s getting your money together, your weight together, your marriage together, your diet together….. whatever it is that you’re working on get up and do something about it NOW.

Take a small step today to change your tomorrow

I talk about this in another post but it just takes little baby steps to start forming a new habit.

Even if you take just a few minutes to do something to make yourself better it’ll get you rolling. If you don’t want to work out for an hour a day go walk for two minutes today, five minutes tomorrow, and 10 minutes a day next week.

If you don’t have $1000 to put in your savings account today then add one dollar and next week try to add $5…. just start with something to make progress towards your goals.

If your goal is to write a book but you haven’t done anything about it don’t focus on writing the entire book or even the entire chapter. Write the first two sentences of the first page. Then tomorrow write more until you have a paragraph and then a page and then the chapter and then finally your novel!


By taking your big goal and breaking it down into smaller tasks, you allow your brain to digest it easier. You make yourself believe hey I can get this instead of it’s seeming like such an overwhelming goal to accomplish.
Trust me I don’t want to limit your potential….still aim high and higher than the sky as I would always say.

People say sky is the limit but I say there are no limits!

People say I think outside of the box I say I have no box!

What I’m telling you is although your goal may be exponential, it only takes a little bit at a time to get to that goal.

At least crawl today if you can’t run right now. If you lie in the bed you won’t get closer to running. At least if you crawl today you can pull yourself up tomorrow to attempt to take one step. But if you just lie there you don’t start building up those muscles so that you will eventually run a marathon.
